Ricossa
Barbaresco 2011 (SKU 929406, $21.99)
I got to taste this wine at a restaurant on
a Dine Out Vancouver event. Since it was an Italian restaurant and I ordered
Italian food, I thought it was only fitting to drink an Italian wine. It was a
medium body barbaresco wine with an easy-to-appreciate nose and palate and a
medium finish. With Italian food it was an excellent match. There was no Wine
Spectator rating but I thought this one could be recommended as a food paring
wine. Most restaurants would probably charge around $50 per bottle. There is
ample stock at LDB stores.
